You need a few programs before we start. Don't worry, they're all free. Free as in Beer, not free as in Kazaa.
Download whatever the latest version of EAC is. As of this writing, it's V0.95 prebeta 3. This could change any day now and make me look like a fool. Download whatever the version is that looks like it's the most recent. You can use something older, but I made all the pictures for the guide with V0.95 prebeta 3, so you might want to use that. I'll try to update as needed, but I can't guarantee.
#2: shntool
Download shntool from http://etree.org/. It's on the front page, the link's on the right with all the other programs. This isn't a 100 percent required program, but I recommend it, and it's a very very good thing to have.
Download the FLAC 1.1.0 for Windows with installer, from http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html. You can get it without the installer if you like pain and suffering, but I don't recommend that. Downloading the installer will also get you the FLAC Frontend (good!), the Winamp2 plugin, and the Nero plugin. Chances are, you've probably already got this, if you've been downloading shows in the first place, but it's never safe to assume, is it?
#4: Something to open a .zip file with, as everything but the FLAC frontend is a .zip file. I can't imagine that anyone doesn't have something to unzip a file with, but if you don't, I guess you can get:
WinRAR or WinZIP or something.
and now, we're ready to move on to Step 2!
